Date Published: 17 July 2007
Brightlingsea Harbour
Brightlingsea Harbour can accommodate nearly 500 boats, varying in size from around 14 to 40 feet. Visitors are made very welcome by the Harbour Office staff and can number nearly 100 boats over a weekend. A water taxi offers an excellent service for those wishing to go ashore and explore the town, and the Colne Yacht club makes visiting yachtspeople welcome.

These are to be found in the south channel just upstream of the fishing boats. Usually there will be a membe rof the Harbour staff available to direct visitors to vacant berths on the pontoons. Please call on VHF channel 68 when approaching.
